Today is Feb 14, and these are the stories unfolding.

1-Democratic Party establishment panicking over possible Sanders nomination
With populist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont now considered the front-runner in the race for the Democratic nomination, concern and resistance is growing among mainstream and establishment Democrats inside and outside the nation’s capital.

According to Fox News, who did not name their sources, the panic is strong. “It’s bad,” one freshman Democrat from a swing district said. “We are having conversations about how to deal with this.” Another Democrat told Fox News.“If [Sanders] is the nominee, we lose.”

Two other vulnerable Democrats said a Sanders nomination would almost certainly cede their states to President Trump and could hurt their down-ballot races for the House and Senate.

DML: I am more concerned about what it does long term to the country.  As I have been explaining on DML LIVE, exclusively on TeamDML.com, if Bernie wins the nomination the radical Left will become the Democratic party forever.  The likes of Illhan Omar, AOC, and nuts like Bernie will dominate.

2-White House: President Trump not ‘bothered’ about Barr’s comments on his tweets amid Roger Stone controversy
The White House says President Trump isn’t “bothered” or deterred after Attorney General Bill Barr told ABC News on Thursday that the president’s tweets “make it impossible for me to do my job,” in an unusual swipe at the president — although Barr emphasized that Trump “has never asked me to do anything in a criminal case.”

Barr’s unexpected comments came days after Trump, in a late-night tweet earlier this week, criticized career Justice Department prosecutors for recommending a nine-year prison sentence for his former adviser Roger Stone. Senior DOJ leaders then intervened and adjusted the sentencing recommendation downward, saying it was clearly excessive given Stone’s obstruction-related offenses. All four prosecutors on the case stepped down within hours.

“I think it’s time to stop the tweeting about Department of Justice criminal cases,” Barr said. “I’m not going to be bullied or influenced by anybody … whether it’s Congress, a newspaper editorial board, or the president.” Barr continued, “I’m gonna do what I think is right, and you know … I cannot do my job here at the department with a constant background commentary that undercuts me.”

DML: I agree with Barr, sometimes Trump doesn’t know when to say “when.”  His tweet to Gov Cuomo before a meeting at the White House is indication he wants to get nothing done.  Telling Cuomo not to bring “Fredo” to the meeting.  A reference to the governor’s brother Chris, the anchor at CNN.  I thought it was a funny tweet, but totally useless in terms of getting things done politically.  Trump and Cuomo failed to reach agreement to resolve ‘sanctuary’ state sanctions.  Not sure the tweet caused the shortfall, but it didn’t help.

3-China reports another sharp rise in coronavirus infections with 5,090 new cases; death toll approaching 1,400
China on Friday reported another sharp rise in the number of people infected with coronavirus as the death toll neared 1,400. The National Health Commission said 121 more people had died and there were 5,090 new confirmed cases. The illness, officially known as COVID-19, has killed nearly 1,400 people worldwide and sickened more than 64,000 others. The vast majority of the cases are in mainland China, where the virus first began in the Hubei province. (There are now 63,851 confirmed cases in mainland China, of which 1,380 have died.)

DML: The Chinese are here at Disney in large numbers, I could be next.

4- #MeToo hits banking industry
The #MeToo movement was originally largely focused on the media and entertainment worlds, before migrating to technology companies. Now it looks like commercial banks are in the crosshairs, too, writes Axios’ Jennifer Kingso.

Wells Fargo is dropping its mandatory arbitration clause for employee sexual harassment complaints.  And a former employee of PNC won a $2.4 million jury award in her harassment case against the bank.

DML: I could sue Newsmax for #MeToo.  Should I?   Juicy story.

5- Valentines Love for DML PURE
Patty said when she first started using the DML PURE CBD products she was expecting to see magic happen in a day.  She did not.  She started sleeping better, but her nagging aches and pains were still prevalent.  She shot us an email asking if there was a better time of day to take the softgels.  We told her “no.”  We did tell her that some people take two softgels per day, one in the morning and one at night, but there is no science behind the best time to take a softgel.  We told her it takes time, stick with it!  She stuck with it and we were correct, eventually the aches and pains went away.  She just purchased her second round of softgels by taking advantage of our amazing offer, which ends today.  If you take CBD, it takes time to full work the wonders you are hoping for.  Like a diet, it’s something that takes time to feel the full effects, or so our customers report.
