3-Year-Old Boy Killed in Road Rage Shooting

On Saturday night in Little Rock, Arkansas, a three-year-old boy was killed in a road rage shooting. The little boy was in a car with his grandmother at a stop sign, when a driver got out of his car behind them and opened fire on their car because she “wasn’t moving fast enough at a stop sign,” according to police.

After the boy was hit by a bullet, the grandmother rushed to a nearby shopping center to call police. The boy was transported from the Shackleford Crossing shopping center to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The grandmother was not injured.

The shooter is still currently at large, according to police Lt. Steve McClanahan. “They were completely innocent… The grandmother simply was driving the car and was taking her grandson shopping when the incident occurred,” McClanahan clarified, specifically stating there was no connecting relationship between the shooter and the victims.

According to eyewitness reports, the shooter is described as a “tall black man” driving an older black Chevrolet Impala.

This is the second road rage killing of a child in a matter of a month. In Little Rock in November, a two-year-old girl was killed while being driven by her mom, Shunta Johnson, 37, when the driver of a passing vehicle open fired at them.
