The open bathrooms debate continues to grab headline throughout the U.S. as more corporations ignore the negative impact it has on their businesses, and the risk it presents to customers and employees. For example, Target department stores continue to be under fire from customers who are boycotting the store, which in return is hurting the company’s bottom line.
The next organization to put their success and customers at risk is Hershey Park in PA.
The theme park announced this week that “transgender guests visiting the theme park may use the bathroom that matches their gender identity, or a family restroom if they wish.
A statement on the issue released by Hershey Park’s Public Relations Manager Kathy Burrows this week reads:
