Acclaimed film director ridiculed over his plan to stop ISIS

Film Director Josh Fox received critical feedback after he published a series of tweets on Thursday, opposing the U.S. military strike in Afghanistan.

The director claimed “love” will stop hate and ISIS.

Fox received a lot of backlash on Twitter for the tweets.

One person responded, “Go give #ISIS a hug. We’ll cover you.”

Another person wrote, “Love stops ISIS? That makes about as much sense as giving them a Pepsi.”

Fox is known for his Oscar-nominated documentary, “Gasland,” a film about the dangers of fracking.
