The loudest voice against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is now facing trouble of a new kind after an arrest warrant was issued for her Monday.
According to police, an arrest warrant for actress Rose McGowan was issued Monday for alleged felony possession of a controlled substance on a flight earlier this year.
McGowan faces a felony charge after an investigation revealed that her personal belongings left behind on a United Airlines flight back in January tested positive for narcotics.
McGowan claimed Monday in a tweet that the warrant was an attempt to “silence” her. She tweeted, “Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia. What a load of HORSESHIT.”

Police say they’ve attempted to contact McGowan so she can appear in a Loudoun County, Virginia, court. The warrant has been entered into a national law enforcement database.
McGowan’s Twitter account remains active with several posts published since the warrant was issued.
