Saturday Night Live host and actor Alec Baldwin has decided he isn’t finished impersonating President Donald Trump after all.
Baldwin, 59, a solid Trump critic, had indicated in May that he likely was finished with his stunts portraying the president. Earlier, in March, he said, “The maliciousness of this White House has people very worried. That’s why I’m not going to do it much longer, the impersonation. I don’t know how much more people can take it.”
However, CNN gleefully reported Monday evening that Baldwin said during an interview promoting his new movie, “Blind,” that he will keep up the stunt.
“Yeah, we’re going to fit that in. I think people have enjoyed it,” Baldwin reportedly stated.
His busy schedule may not allow as many Trump performances, but Baldwin is clearly not finished with his mockery of Trump, and confirmed he is bringing back the act for season 43 of Saturday Night Live.
As for President Trump, he is no fan of Baldwin’s act.
