Alec Baldwin Offers to Play “Highway to Hell” at Trump’s Inauguration


Alec Baldwin has offered to play at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20th.

With most of Hollywood shying away from having anything to do with President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20th, one star has stepped up to the plate with a tongue-and-cheek offer to perform: Alec Baldwin. And, his song of choice to perform? AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.”

Baldwin, a flagrant Trump critic, who portrays the President-elect on recurring Saturday Night Live skits, took to Twitter on Friday:

Baldwin jokingly makes his offer after a string of Hollywood stars like Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, Garth Brooks, and Gene Simmons have refused to perform at the swearing-in ceremony. Amid reports they have had trouble booking talent for the event, the few acts that have been confirmed are the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, America’s Got Talent contestant Jackie Evancho, and the Rockettes, reports The Guardian.
He also sparked controversy this week with haunting words claiming that Trump’s inauguration day will mark the “beginning” of the end for the president-elect:
