NBC’s Megyn Kelly has taped an interview with Alex Jones of InfoWars that is scheduled to air next Sunday, June 18, on “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly”.

Jones, host and founder of the InfoWars program, has questioned whether the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School really happened, or if the scenes were just played out by actors.

As a result of the controversy surrounding Jones, Kelly is being shredded for interviewing him on her program.

Chelsea Clinton tweeted out Monday morning, “There is no justification for aplifying lies (or a liar), particularly about unimaginable tragedy. I hope no parent, no person watches this.”

Nelba Márquez-Greene, whose daughter, Ana Grace, was one of the children killed at Sandy Hook, tweeted out in response to Clinton, “I promise you it’s not riveting. How would you feel if someone shot your kids, some fool said it wasn’t true – and I gave him a show?”

Kelly has not only gotten hit with complaints, however – advertisers are upset as well.

Kristin Lemkau, a chief marketing executive for JPMorgan Chase, tweeted Monday, “As an advertiser, I’m repulsed that @megynkelly would give a second of airtime to someone who says Sandy Hook and Aurora are hoaxes. Why?”
