American Sniper Radicalized, Now a Leader of ISIS

Gulmurod Khalimov was a US special arms sniper who received extensive training by leading military officials. The 41-year-old colonel engaged in counter-terrorism procedures, which included tactical leadership training and combat. All in all, Khalimov is a very dangerous man to mess with.

The State Department is now offering “up to $3 million for information leading to the location, arrest, and/or conviction of Gulmurod Khalimov.” This valuable American asset has now become a radicalized ISIS recruiter and fighter. In fact, after his defection from the U.S., Khalimov has been promoted to ISIS’ “minister of war.”

Islamic State leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi in 2015 called on professionals living in the western modern world “to immigrate to the territories under his control and help build up the state.” One of these professions specified was the role of military expert. Hence, Khalimov found his calling with terror.

Khalimov’s rise to minister of war came after red-bearded terrorist Tarhan Batirashvili, aka “Omar the Chechen,” was killed in a US airstrike in July.
