Amidst an escalating border crisis where illegal aliens are pouring crossing the U.S. border in droves before Trump takes office, the Obama administration is allowing 220 adolescent illegal immigrants to cross over the border DAILY.
WND reported that in November, the Obama administration processed and released a staggering 6,623 illegal alien children who crossed the U.S, which equates to roughly 220 kids per day. The monthly average increased by more than 600 children in November, compared to 6,051 in October. According to fiscal year 2016 data, the majority of these adolescents are between the ages of 15 and 17.
It has been reported that nearly 14,128 unaccompanied minors have been apprehended at the US-Mexico border during October and November. Meanwhile, during those same months, the Obama administration’s Office of Refugee Resettlement released another 12,674 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC).
Even more disturbing, with still 10 months to go in the fiscal year, Obama has reportedly already released about 25% of the total number of UAC’s to live in the U.S. last year. If we continue on this trajectory, the number of UACs caught and released into the U.S. will far exceed any previous year including FY2014, when adolescent border crossings hit an all-time high and overwhelmed U.S. border agents, reports WND.
Data from the federal immigration court system shows that more than a third of these children won’t show up for their court date, including about 90 percent of those children who are ordered removed from the country. Additionally, recently released information from the Department of Health and Human Services shows the administration only conducts home studies for about six percent of the illegal alien children released, failing to follow up on the vast majority who are left to disappear into communities across the country.
The U.S. border has been flooded with illegal aliens, including unaccompanied minors, in the final months of fiscal year 2016 and into the first days of 2017, with no slow down in sight.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. border officials have arrested 530,250 undocumented immigrants in fiscal year 2016.
Fox News reports that arrests by the U.S Border Patrol have increased by nearly 70,000 between 2015 to 2016, with about a 23 percent hike in arrests year to year. The DHS claims that the majority of arrested undocumented immigrants are being deported to their native countries, of which, most are coming from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.
Officials have said that the massive surge of undocumented immigrants coming from these countries in the past two months has to do with making it into the U.S. before Trump’s inauguration.
