According to the New York Times, TJ Maxx and Marshalls have reportedly ordered their employees to throw away Ivanka Trump signs and to stop displaying her brands as stand-alone items.
Employees received written instructions describing the procedures, and a TJX company spokeswoman, Doreen Thompson, has confirmed it as fact.
TJX owns both TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
“Effective immediately, please remove all Ivanka Trump merchandise from features and mix into the runs.” It continued, “All Ivanka Trump signs should be discarded.”
The employees were told to take Trump’s clothesline apparel and mix it in with the other brands on the clothes racks.
This move from a national retailer comes on the heels of Nordstrom’s decision to drop Ivanka Trump’s clothes line, altogether.

My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!
