Lara Trump, daughter-in-law to the President and wife of Eric Trump, heads Trump’s digital campaign strategy, and is already locked and loaded for 2020.
At the 2017 North Carolina GOP Convention Saturday, Trump thanked roughly 1,000 supporters for their efforts in the President’s victory, noting the importance of North Carolina on the electoral map:
“I have to thank everyone in my home state because, I think we all know, without North Carolina, it would have been tough to win this election, right?”
She then went on to demonstrate her loyalty to and belief in the Republican party and to rally supporters for the 2018 and 2020 elections. Many associates with the end note that Ms. Trump may have the chops to explore a political future of her own.
“We work every day alongside the RNC, and we are so in tune with what the other one is doing. We are making sure that we have an incredibly strong party, that we’re geared up for 2018, that we’re geared up for 2020. And in case nobody looked around at the other side, they look pretty bad, guys. It does not look good for the DNC right now.”
