President Trump and national security advisor, H.R. McMaster, reportedly got into a heated argument over a phone call McMaster had made to South Korea without Trump’s consent. There has been constant tension between the two.

“I couldn’t be happier with H.R. He’s doing a terrific job,” Trump said bluntly in a statement to Bloomberg following the report.

But sources to the news outlet said Trump literally “screamed” at McMaster for telling South Korean officials that Trump’s statement that the country would have to pay for a missile defense system wasn’t official policy.

According to the insiders, Trump has accused McMaster of  undermining his policy more than once in front of other White House staff members and has given the national security adviser less face time as a result.

White House chief strategist Steve Bannon isn’t a fan of McMaster’s policies and, according to Bloomberg, White House chief of staff Reince Priebus is blocking a key appointment from McMaster.
