Author jokes about suicide after Trump blocks him on Twitter

Best selling author Stephen King is no longer a follower of President Trump’s Twitter account – he has been blocked.

He tweeted out a sarcastic complaint Tuesday, stating, “Trump has blocked me from reading his tweets. I may have to kill myself.”

Then he added, “Have others received a notification of being blocked from Trump’s tweets, or is it a hoax? It’s not as if his tweets are hard to find!”

Again, he mocked, “Blocked! Condemned to an existential wasteland of Trumplessness!”

The Washington Post noted that during an interview in September, King told WP’s Ron Charles, “A Trump presidency scares me more than anything else. I’m terrified that he’ll become president.”

One thing that may have prompted Trump to take such an action is a tweet King sent out the day before about Ivanka, saying, “If Ivanka Trump had grown up in the farm country, like some of us, she’d know her father is reaping exactly what he sowed.”
