Baldwin finds another way to mock President Trump

Alec Baldwin channeled President Trump during a promotional video for his upcoming roast on Spike’s One Night Only, where he will play the nation’s first president, George Washington.

“Hello, everyone. It’s me, George Washington, who made America great the first time,” Baldwin says with a Trump-twist, dressed in full makeup and a powdered wig.

“People didn’t know I talked like this, but it’s true. I cannot tell a lie; this is how I sound,” the actor and comedian said on the video as he impersonates Trump’s signature pout and mannerisms.

“You’re welcome, you know, for your amazing freedoms, creating all this tremendous democracy,” Baldwin continues.

“I grabbed so much freedom from those British losers. When you’re president, they let you do it,” a jab aimed at Trump’s Access Hollywood tape that surfaced last fall.

“I won our nation’s first election,” says the Trump-Washington hybrid. “Fair and square. Complete landslide. Nobody thought I could win all 13 colonies but I did. The press [is] saying the French interfered, okay that’s fake news.”

He even poked fun at his own career, saying: “I created this terrific, incredible country for everybody, even the haters and the losers like Alec Baldwin so that he could have the freedom to insult the president. Some people like me are the father of their country, others like that idiot Alec play dress-up and make believe their entire lives.”

Baldwin’s One Night Only roast is scheduled to air July 9 on the Spike channel and will feature Kate McKinnon, Robert DeNiro, among a few other famous faces who will roast the actor.

It was also reported earlier this week that Baldwin will return to Saturday Night Live next season and reprise his role as Trump.
