Bernie Sanders has declared a legislative victory, after GOP leaders in the Senate suspended deliberations on the healthcare bill Tuesday due to a failure to acquire the passing votes.
The victory is only temporary, however, as the body will once again convene after the 4th of July, but Sanders is ready to keep fighting.
Senators are reluctant to give the bill their blessing after the budget review session revealed millions of Americans would lose coverage.
This is a major victory but it’s temporary. Our job now is to rally the American people to stop this awful legislation once and for all! https://t.co/LUVefyYJZB
