Several Best Buy employees from Long Island were interviewed about their acts of kindness toward a young boy who came into their store on a daily basis in order to play the Wii U.
The video that was shared by their store manager, Rahiem Storr, shows the young boy being presented with a $300 gift, with one employee saying to the boy, “On behalf of all of us here at Best Buy, we got you a Wii U so you don’t have to come here every day and play.”
In the video, the boy can be seen speechless while apparently wiping tears off his face as the employees presents him with the gift.
Storr, one of the employees interviewed, mentions that the boy reminded him of himself as a younger kid, as he would also go to stores to play games since his mom couldn’t afford to purchase them. He goes on to say that “If we’re able to give him something, why not?”
Another employee told the boy, “Consider it an early Christmas present.”
Although he was given the gifts several weeks ago, it has been reported that the boy has continued his routine visits to the store.
