Former Vice President Joe Biden’s consideration for a likely run for president in 2020 just grew a little stronger.
Biden plans to announce on Thursday the formation of a political action committee (PAC), according to the New York Times. This signifies he is initiating the process for a future presidential campaign.
The PAC will be titled “American Possibilities” and will be operated by his former aide Greg Schultz, who previously worked on President Barack Obama‘s two White House campaigns.
The 74-year-old former vice president considered the opportunity to go against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination in 2016 before family concerns in the wake of his son’s death prevented him from doing so.
