Biden ordains his second same-sex marriage

Former Vice President Joe Biden officiated his second gay since 2016, marrying DNC finance chairman Henry Muños III to Kyle Ferrari over Memorial Day weekend at his Naval Observatory home.

People magazine reported that actress Melanie Griffith attended the wedding and posted a photo of the ceremony on her Instagram account.

A vocal supporter of same-sex marriage and LGBTQ issues, Biden officiated the gay marriage of Brian Mosteller and Joe Mahshie, both former White House staffers, in 2016.

Biden, 74, has been critical of the Trump administration regarding its lack of focus on LGBTQ issues.

“As much great work as we’ve done, we face some real challenges ahead. We thought things were moving in the right direction,” he said in March, while accepting the HELP HERO Humanitarian Award. “Instead of focusing on the fact that 40 percent of the homeless youth on the street are identified as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender [and] rejected by their families out on the street, and what do we do about that, we’re now focusing on whether or not a transgender child, which bathroom they can use.”
