Many Anti-Trump Republicans have accepted funding from billionaire George Soros, according to an extensive report from Breitbart.

The new report reveals that money from billionaire political agitator George Soros made its way to the coffers of top republicans, including House Speaker Paul Ryan and Sens. John McCain, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Lindsey Graham and others.

Everyone knew that billionaire George Soros was funding Hillary Clinton’s presidential run along with many other Democrats, but a new report from the Washington D.C.-based Center for Responsive Politics reveals that anti-Trump republicans were also accepting funding from Soros-backed individuals.

Detailed information pertaining to the source of political funding can be found online at OpenSecrets.org. The nonpartisan, independent, and nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics tracks money in U.S. politics and shows the effect donations have on elections and public policy.

According to the organization, top anti-Trump Republicans received tens of thousands of dollars in 2016 from executives of a hedge fund founded by Soros in 1969 now known as Soros Fund Management, an investment firm.

During the 2016 presidential race, Soros Fund Managment executives gave millions of dollars to groups and individual candidates who supported nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton for the presidency.

Of interest, however, is the fact that some Soros employees who work for the billionaire’s son, Robert Soros, also donated many thousands of dollars to 2016 Republican candidates who opposed Donald Trump.

In addition to funding from super PACs and campaign committees, Breitbart.com reported that $36,800 from Soros executives went towards the 2016 elections of several GOP candidates. It is interesting to see that Soros executives were also trying to influence candidates inside the GOP, and the significance lies in the pro-amnesty, pro-open borders, anti-Trump Republicans Soros executives chose to back.

House Speaker Paul Ryan was revealed to have received the greatest amount of cash from Soros execs., which now casts a suspicious light on the way Ryan constantly tried to undermine Trump during his bid for the presidency. According to the online records, Ryan received $10,800 from Soros executives.

It is reported that other anti-Trump Republicans who received funding from Soros Fund Management employees in 2016 include Sen. Lindsey Graham ($3,500), and Sen. Marco Rubio ($2,700); Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush received $2,700 each from Soros employees.

According to Breitbart, many of the GOP candidates denied that the money came from Soros.
