David Donovan, 41, and Marc Knotts, 48, were injured following an intense shootout between two Florida motorcycle clubs.

Donovan and Knotts themselves are members of motorcycle gangs, with Donovan being a member of the Kingsmen and Knotts being a member of the opposing Outlaws. Both had previous criminal run-ins with police.

The standoff between the Outlaws and Kingsmen at the Leesburg Bikefest took place on Saturday night, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Each man was shot three times.

The annual event, which attracts over 200,000 bikers every year, was held three miles away from the shooting at a local gas station. A suspect wanted for questioning is also at large.

“This was an isolated incident which occurred far outside the downtown venue area,” said Leesburg’s Police Lieutenant, Joe Iozzi. He also confirmed that both Donovan and Knotts were currently recovering from their injuries at a local hospital.
