A large group of motorcyclists, dirt bikers and quad riders took over Times Square as they performed tricks and stunt in the middle of one of the city’s busiest intersections, completely halting all activity. One biker was arrested for the incident.
Around 30 people doing “donuts” and “burnouts” at the corner of Seventh Avenue and 47th Street as pedestrians tried to cross the street around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Video footage captured the awe-striking stunts as spectators gawked in wonder. Of course, it was not too long until police arrived to break up the scene.
A cop can be seen in the video grabbing the arm of one of the men and running alongside his motorcycle for several feet until the rider finally stops. The arrested man was Christian Ruiz, 22, who was charged with disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and obstruction of governmental administration.
