Black Lives Matter Planning Black Friday Protests

black-friday-2a-2015

Black Friday has become another excuse to demonstrate against the police, against Trump, or any other grievance.

Major protests are planned in major cities by the Black Lives Matter clan in an attempt to disrupt Black Friday shoppers, and thousands have responded that they will be participating in the demonstrations.

A Facebook event page for a protest in Seattle, Washington already has over 3,000 people who have clicked the “going” button.  The protest is scheduled to begin at 1pm PST.  The invitation to join the protest says, “No School, No Work, No Shopping, No Excuses – Just hit the streets – Cheap Deals do NOT matter.”   They’re calling for “very visible and loud demonstrations.”

WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER AND BE UNITED AS ONE AGAINST injustice ,racism, oppression, police brutality and get JUSTICE FOR Freddie gray,Mike Brown,Tamir Rice,Tony Robison,Sandra Bland and hundreds of other unarmed people of color KILLED BY POLICE.

People must gather and make a very visible and loud demonstration and do what it takes to get justice for Eric Garner and Freddie gray,,Tamir Rice,Tony Robison and hundreds of other unarmed people of color KILLED BY POLICE.Also, end racism and anti blackness and racial injustice and inequality ECT. ! Bring signs and, bring cardboard and markers so other people can make signs.

Crains Chicago Business reports that Black Lives Matter is planning to disrupt Black Friday shoppers on the busy Michigan Avenue shopping district again for the second year in a row.     Last year, they piled up in front of stores to prevent shoppers from entering, which cost many stores about 50 percent of their normal Black Friday sales.

This year, organizers have said they are hoping for an even bigger turnout than last year because they’re upset that Trump won the presidential election.

Frank Chapman, field organizer for the Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression group, said several unions, including the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and the Chicago Teachers Union are expected to join in disrupting the shoppers.
