BLM teacher receives punishment for outlash stint on Tucker Carlson show

A college teacher was suspended indefinitely this month, for comments she made in an interview on the Tucker Carlson show.

Lisa Durden, a speech teacher at Essex County College in New Jersey, appeared on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on June 6th, and was promptly suspended two days later. She was brought on to discuss Black Lives Matter, of which she is a staunch supporter, and became very impassioned while on the show.

After continuously interrupting Carlson, and declaring her support for a party that would create all black schools, Carlson lost his patience.

“I’m not even sure you’re capable of having this conversation,” Carlson said in the interview.

The college did not give a reason for her suspension but Durden has heard from other faculty members that her interview was the cause.

“They did this to humiliate me,” Durden said. “Essex County College publicly lynched me in front of my students.”

She has hired a lawyer and is fighting for reinstatement.
