The body of a man was discovered in a burning car by Loyola Marymount University early Thursday morning.

“It was just after 2 a.m. when the fire was reported,” said Lt. John Radtke of the Los Angeles Police Department.  He told reporters that an ambulance spotted the flames near the campus at 1 Loyola Marymount University Drive.

Once firefighters extinguished the flames, they came across the roasted body of a man inside the white Ford Mustang.

At this time there are no further details immediately available. The victims identity is still unknown, and there are no leads pointing to whether the death of the man was self-inflicted or a murder.
