I feel as if I should change my middle name from ‘Michael’ – to – ‘I Told You So.’ Seriously, “Dennis I Told You So Lynch.” Megyn Kelly from Fox News would agree with the change, I am sure.
A few years ago I told her that illegal immigration was the biggest problem in the U.S., but that people won’t wake up to the problem for another few years. “Americans will wake up one day and realize they are the minority. They’ll then ask, ‘How did this happen?'” For example, the change has been so great in Miami and Los Angeles that today the primary language is Spanish.
Here’s another few “I told you so” moments:
– In 2014, well before anyone was talking about Trump for president, I was on a speaking tour telling people Trump would be the perfect person to fix Washington DC.
– Back in April 2016 when I was hosting my TV show on Newsmax, I told viewers that when Trump wins the election there will be riots breaking out across the country the following day.
– Two weeks ago in a video posted to this very website, not only did I predict the electoral college correctly, but I told you the media would start selling a narrative that Trump had no chance to win the electoral college.
Point is I know this stuff better than most because I actually care enough to study it all. I go beyond the headlines and talking points. I listen to people; I visit places; I look for solutions.
Just last week during my Walk & Talk on Facebook LIVE (catch it daily at 11:40am ET at Facebook.com/DMLdaily), I predicted the Border Patrol would be under incredible pressure once Trump won the election because entire towns in Mexico and Central America would empty out in a race to get here before Obama leaves in January. Turns out I am correct. In other words, “I told you so.”
Today, according to the Associated Press, 150 Border Patrol agents will be sent to South Texas from Arizona, California and elsewhere to help process the surge of illegal aliens who have recently been apprehended crossing the Rio Grande.
The additional agents will assist with screening and processing of the illegal aliens taken into custody along the border, many of whom are unaccompanied children and families. Once they are processed they will be released into the general public. Thus, adding to the workload President-elect Trump is about to face.
Today, one of my Border Patrol sources told me this week has been the single worst week he’s experienced since being on the job. The source told me, “DML, Mr. Trump can’t get into office soon enough. We’re overloaded, we’re ready to collapse, and we’re being told to release these people. We’re not checking a single thing — no health, no criminal checks — nothing. Many of these kids are sure to become gangs members if they are not already.”
Here is an interview DML did with a Border Patrol agent who explains exactly what’s taking place at the border:
