An active shooter situation is unfolding at the Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

An estimated 20 to 50 people have been injured, according to officials.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the shooter is still at large.

Reports are coming from the media that police have notified all area hospitals that they should expect to receive students as patients.

Authorities say they believe they know who the shooter is, and have stated he is a student who attended class today.  The shooter is reportedly on the run.

This is a developing story.
