BREAKING: Breitbart runs article about E-Verify petition

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service on the internet, DML News offers the following information published by BREITBART.COM:

More than 10,000 Americans have signed a petition pleading with President Trump to executively enact mandatory E-Verify, which would ban all U.S. businesses from hiring illegal aliens over citizens.

A White House petition is seeking to get another 90,000 signatures from Americans before mid-June in order to ask Trump to sign an executive order making mandatory E-Verify the law of the land.

The article goes on to state the following:

Despite his support for mandatory E-Verify, Trump has been unable to get the Republican-controlled Congress to pass a number of his wage-boosting pro-American immigration reforms that would cut legal immigration to increase economic opportunities for citizens.

According to the article, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Thomas Homan has been cracking down on businesses hiring illegal aliens, which has helped open construction jobs for women and led to wage growth for Americans in various fields.

“Industries flooded with cheap, illegal alien workers have driven Americans’ wages down significantly,” the article notes, pointing to a Breitbart News report on a whistleblower’s claims that illegal immigration has tanked Californian wages in the construction field.

The petition was launched on Monday, May 14, by Philadelphia businessman Edward Bishop, who says he’s tired of waiting on politicians to get the job done and insists it’s time for Americans to get involved.
