BREAKING. First Jobs Report Under Trump Shows Skyrocket in January

According to a report put out the by the Labor Department on Friday, the U.S. added 227,000 jobs in January.

This is the first jobs report under the Trump administration, and the number comes in far above economists’ expectations of 180,000 jobs.

In addition, the labor force participation rate ticked up to 62.9% from 62.7%.

Wages in January rose by 2.5%, year-over-year, below expectations of 2.7%.

Although the mainstream media is trying to give credit for this current jobs report to the Obama administration, the fact is key indicators have rallied higher in the months after Trump won the election, suggesting that the new administration has influenced the positive growth.
