BREAKING: ‘The Five’ co-host Bob Beckel fired from Fox News

On Friday, a day after the death of Fox News founder Roger Ailes, co-host Bob Beckel of “The Five” was fired, according to a spokesperson.

The Fox News spokesperson confirmed in a public statement that “Bob Beckel was terminated today for making an insensitive remark to an African-American employee.”

This is the second time Beckel, a liberal commentator, has been fired from the network. The 68-year-old was originally terminated from Fox News in 2015 due to “personal issues.” He briefly worked for CNN before returning back to Fox News to co-host “The Five” earlier this year.
