UPDATE:  Media outlets are now reporting that a law enforcement official wrongly told them Dulos was dead. He was reportedly taken to the hospital and is in intensive care. “He is not breathing on his own but has a pulse,” it is now reported.

Fotis Dulos has been found dead at his home in Connecticut, according to The Hartford Courant, which is reporting his death as a suicide.

Emergency services rushed to his property in Farmington on Tuesday morning.

The article goes on to state the following:

There were initially conflicting reports on whether or not he is alive or dead but the Courant cited unnamed State Police sources who said on Tuesday he had died. Others report that he is being revived.

Hartford Courant reporter Dave Altimari confirmed on Twitter, “Law enforcement sources are telling The Courant that Fotis Dulos has died at his Farmington home.”

The report notes that “Dulos was awaiting trial on murder charges for the death of his wife Jennifer, who vanished last May after dropping their five kids off at school.”

“Farmington and state police are both there it is being investigated as a possible suicide,” Altimari added.

Altimari had just reported earlier Tuesday morning:

There’s a pretty good chance Fotis Dulos will be going back to prison today. The South Carolina company that insured the recent $6 million bond now wants out because they aren’t comfortable with collateral put up to secure it.

Dulos is expected to argue that it’s a contractual problem between bondsman and insurance company and that an evidenciary herding is needed but Judge White May out him back in jail until it’s all sorted out.

News12CT report Marissa Alter said in a Twitter post, “We are getting reports of police and paramedics outside Fotis Dulos’ home in Farmington doing CPR on someone. Dulos was supposed to be in court right now got an emergency bond hearing. Court source tells me that’s now “on a big delay.””@News12CT

Alter also tweeted, “BREAKING: a source confirms Fotis Dulos has died from an apparent suicide attempt at his Farmington home.”
