Gunfire and explosions have been reported early Friday at Resorts World Manila in the Philippines, according to CNN Philippines.

Resorts World Manila, a resort complex in Newport City, is home to a variety of hotels, casinos, and shopping malls and at 1:30 AM Friday morning SWAT teams responded to calls of a masked man on the second floor of one hotel unloading bullets on guests and hotel employees.

The complex is across the street from Ninoy Aquino International Airport and is described by RSM as “the first and largest integrated resort in the Philippines.”

The Philippines is no stranger to terrorism of late as President Rodrigo Duterte has recently declared martial law on the souther island of Mindanao, where the Muslim city of Marawi has been home to ISIS-linked militant infighting since the onset of the Holy Muslim month of Ramadan last week.
