A fire has broken out in the Trump Tower building in New York Saturday afternoon.

According to one witness account on Twitter, the fire “was small and then something happened where the size doubled in seconds!”

The New York City Fire Department tweeted, “FDNY members are on scene of a 3-alarm fire at 721 5th Ave Manhattan. There are currently no injuries reported.”

Fox News reported at 6:45 pm that authorities had announced the fire, which broke out in an apartment on the 50th floor, has now been extinguished. (See alarming videos below.)
