Megyn Kelly’s upcoming interview with controversial conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, the creator of InfoWars, has drawn plenty of ire from Americans across the board.
In the wake of the interview, set to air on Father’s Day Sunday, a major sponsor of Kelly’s new NBC show has pulled its sponsorship over the decision to air the interview. On top of that, an event Kelly was scheduled to host involving Sandy Hook victims from the infamous mass shooting, which Jones regards as a government operated coverup, has now canceled her appearance.
Kelly addressed the controversy in a tweeted statement on Tuesday, but halfway through the statement, Kelly begins to bash and target President Trump as the ultimate reason Jones has a platform to stand on and is the propelling cause to why she felt the need to interview him.
