BREAKING: New official identified at Trump Jr. meeting linked to Clinton State Department

Certain details were conveniently omitted from a Friday report in the New York Times, regarding a Russian translator who was in attendance at the June 2016 meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

The New York Times article reported that Rinat Akhmetshin, a naturalized American citizen and a veteran of the Red Army attended the meeting along with Veselnitskaya, and noted he has also worked to repeal the Magnitsky Act.

In the interview with the New York Times, Akhmetshin identified another person at the meeting – a translator, Anatoli Samachornov. The Times reported that Mr. Samachornov would not confirm that he had been in the meeting, but did confirm that he was working with Ms. Veselnitskaya at that time regarding matters related to the Magnitsky Act and adoptions.

Those were the only details regarding the translator in the report by the New York Times.

Breitbart has published a report with alarming details regarding the translator… including his tight connections to the U.S. State Department during the time Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.

The “translator” was a project manager at the Meridian International Center, according to his LinkedIn profile, from January 2005 until recently. Meridian, described on its website as a “nonprofit, global leadership organization headquartered in Washington, D.C.” is a principal partner of the U.S. State Department, Breitbart noted.

“Globalization is a force that is here to stay,” a speaker declares in a video on the site’s website. Hillary Clinton is also prominently featured in the video as well.

Breitbart reported:

Samochornov was listed as the program administrator for the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program, which is implemented by Meridian. Breitbart News found the draft program book for the March 4-12, 2013 leadership initiative, which listed a State Department email for Samochornov.

Samochornov is identified in another document as “a “Russian born professional interpreter and project manager for the U.S. State Department.”

He also has an email account with the State Department, [email protected]  Breitbart noted that an email sent to that address did not bounce back, indicating the account is likely still active.

Samochornov’s LinkedIn profile includes the following details about his role in connection to the U.S. Department of State:
