The suspect in the shooting of a UCLA professor Mainak Sarkar apparently had kill list. The list was covered after a police raid of the apartment. The victim from yesterday’s shooting was Professor William Klug, 39, a teacher in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, before Sarkar then killed himself.
The kill list recovered has a list of names of people Sarkar intended to kill. One of them was another UCLA professor, whose name has been redacted and is currently unharmed. However, a yet-to-be identified woman on the kill list has reportedly been found dead in her Minnesota home. It is unknown at this time if Sarkar had involvement, or what his relation is to the woman.
Other names on the kill list have not been released, and the extent of the kill list is currently under investigation.
