BREAKING: Revised GOP tax bill passes House vote in final approval

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a revised version of the GOP tax reform bill Wednesday morning, which had been amended to correct minor technicalities called out by the Democrats.

The passage of the bill gives President Trump his first major legislative win, and fulfills his campaign promise to cut taxes for middle class Americans and bring jobs back to America.

The final bill passed Wednesday in a 224-201 vote, and will now be moved to President Trump’s desk for his signature.

President Trump shot out a Twitter post immediately after the vote, showing a GIF video of a Christmas present bursting open and money flying out. He had promised the tax cuts as a Christmas present for the American people.

“We are delivering HISTORIC TAX RELIEF for the American people!” he tweeted.
