Republican senators have been told they should expect to be in town this weekend to process Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court as he battles sexual misconduct claims, according to a GOP senator.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) told his colleagues at a Senate GOP lunch on Tuesday to prepare to be in session this weekend, Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) told reporters.

  1. She didn’t like the idea that a vote would be held on Monday after she speaks to the committee on Thursday so how will she and her lawyer take this news? I am wondering if she will demand that the vote be stopped or she won’t show up, if that is the case then they could easily hold the vote on Thursday afternoon or Friday and tell Ford to take a flying leap.

  2. I hope they are prepared for lots of crazy demonstrations. Stay out of the Restaurants and have pizza delivery to the Senate office building.
