BREAKING: Shooting at postal office reported in San Francisco, police warn citizens to take shelter

San Francisco police are responding to a shooting near 17th and Vermont streets, near the Bayshore Freeway, the department said in a tweet. San Francisco police are responding to the shooting Wednesday afternoon at a United Postal Service facility.

People in the area are advised to shelter in place.

It’s unclear if anyone is injured at this moment.
