New reports claim over 100,000 U.S. visas have been revoked following President Trump’s recent executive orders on immigration.
Lawsuits have erupted nationwide after the travel ban on immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries.
he figure emerged after two Yemeni brothers filed a lawsuit in Virginia when they were put on a flight to Ethiopia after arriving at Dulles International Airport in Virginia.
The attorney representing the brothers could not say how many visa holders were turned away at Dulles, but the subsequent hearing resulted in Virginia being granted the right to join several other states in a lawsuit to fight the ban.
“This order touched something in the U.S. that I’ve never seen before,” said U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema. “People are quite upset.”
