Trump spoke about possibly extending Russian President Vladimir Putin an invitation to the White House Thursday, but admits that now isn’t the right time.
Trump and Putin hit it off in their meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg last week, which left Trump saying that he envisions a cyber security pact with Russia in the future. This idea was quickly shot down by congressional officials.
Nonetheless, despite current tensions, Putin will inevitably likely visit the White House during Trump’s tenure.
