BREAKING UPDATE: Arrest made after gunman wounds 2 Dallas officers, Home Depot employee

After a high-speed chase Tuesday night, police took someone into custody in connection with the shooting of two Dallas police officers and a Home Depot loss-prevention officer at a store in Lake Highlands.

After a five hour manhunt for the suspected shooter, police were in pursuit about 9 p.m. of a white pickup matching the description of the person of interest’s vehicle.

The article goes on to state the following:

The truck hit a dead end in what appeared to be a residential area and was immediately surrounded by dozens of squad cars.

Dallas Air One, the police department’s helicopter, tweeted that the suspect was in custody.
