A Connecticut man has been arrested for breaking into famous rapper 50 Cent’s mansion while the celebrity was away from home on Tuesday.
Farmington police said 34-year-old Elwin Joyce set off an entry alarm and was found on the estate when police arrived. Authorities did not give any details as to whether or not the man was in possession of anything from the home. It isn’t clear if Joyce has a lawyer that may fight the allegations.
Curtis Jackson III, who goes by the stage name ’50 Cent’, bought the 50,000 square-foot mansion from boxer Mike Tyson for roughly $4 million in 2003.
After being approved for a bankruptcy reorganization plan, Jackson is selling the home located about 10 miles west of Hartford for just under $6 million.
