Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein was interviewed Tuesday by Judy Woodruff on PBS News Hour… but viewers didn’t hear the entire interview.
One of Stein’s supporters, Matt Orfalea, compared the Facebook Live version of the broadcast with the YouTube version that PBS released, and discovered that PBS had edited out comments Stein made criticizing Hillary Clinton, her support of TPP, and comments about Obamacare.
Toward the end of the interview, Stein was asked a question about Clinton and Trump. Her reply lasted for 1 minute and 9 seconds – but only 21 seconds of her answer was left – the comments she said about Hillary were smoothly chopped out.
PBS also censored out another comment by Stein, when she said, “Americans have not only the right to vote but a right to know who we can vote for.”
