Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t appear to be too upset about the transgender ban

Caitlyn Jenner appears to have gotten over the displeasure she voiced with Trump’s decision to ban transgenders from the military last week.

The former male Olympic athlete was spotted drifting down a Malibu freeway Thursday in a Triumph Spitfire convertible, top down, sunglasses on, rocking a “Make America Great Again” hat.

While an avid Republican, Jenner’s experience as a transgender seemingly took precedence in her judgment of Trump’s ban last week, which she decried via Twitter.

“There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. What happened to your promise to fight for them?” she wrote.

She also attached a link to a tweet from the president back on the campaign trail, in which Trump promised to fight for the LGBT community.

“Thank you to the LGBT community! I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.”

But it wasn’t enough to dissuade the star from continuing to show her Trump support publicly, which she has done after most of his decisions, thus far, in office. The Washington Examiner recently reported on Jenner’s satisfaction with the president’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord back in July.

“Like any administration, there’s things that you like and things that you don’t like,” the Olympic champion told students while speaking at the College Republican National Convention.

“We are in a great position as far as being Republicans, you know. We’ve got the executive branch, Congress, the Senate. Let’s take the next few years and let’s really make a difference. Let’s do everything we can to support our Constitution, to support, hopefully, less government, less regulation, and let’s support the American people,” Jenner said at the time.
