The state of California may never see eye-to-eye with Donald Trump and their differences grew even further apart on Saturday when a Democratic member of Congress from the Golden State took more than a few shots at the 45th president.

Rep. Ted Lieu posted the following on Twitter: “‘President’ Donald Trump: You truly are an evil man. Your job is to help Americans. Not intentionally try to destroy their lives.”

This was in response to President Trump’s tweet earlier the same day stating that “ObamaCare will explode.”

In addition to calling the president an “evil man,” Lieu put the word President in quotation marks not once, but twice in a second tweet stating that Trump would be “violating his Oath” if he subverts ObamaCare.

Lieu has been a tough critic of Trump and it was only a few days ago that he proposed a cease of voting on the president’s policies until the investigation regarding Russia is completed. On his twitter bio, Lieu has posted, in addition to personal information, “I don’t take orders from Vladimir Putin.”
