Celebrities Demand Congress Stand Up To Trump (Video)

In a video released Tuesday, a number of “celebrities” and activists demand that Congress oppose, block and obstruct President-elect Donald Trump when he steps into office.

Those in the video are ordering Congress to oppose Trump’s “racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, anti-worker, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic and anti-environmental policies,” and “block nominees who threaten the rights of women, the LGBT community, people of color, immigrants and the poor.”

Celebrities in the video even claim that since Donald Trump won, hate crimes are on the rise, and women and people of color have been “attacked in his name.”

The video (by Humanity for Progress) is accompanied by a Petition addressed to The U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
