Charlie Sheen’s plane was forced to land by federal police in the United States after it returned from Mexico. Officers took all of the bags off the plane and had drug-sniffing dogs go through the plane and bags.

According to reports, a dog sniffed around one of the suitcases on the tarmac. The dog scratched on the case and it was opened, but it was a false alarm and no drugs were found.

Despite the chaos, Sheen was free to carry on with his trip following the shock inspection.

The HIV-positive star has a long history of substance abuse. There are no reports indicating why the feds decided to land Sheen’s plane, but last year, Sheen turned his back on the United States to live in a quiet retirement community in Mexico.

According to a realtor close to the transaction, Sheen said he’s planning on living in Mexico full time because he’s tired of the rat race of the United States.
