According to a claim published by Page Six on Thursday afternoon, liberal actor Matt Damon is so fed up with President Trump, he’s moving his wife and four children to Australia,

Page Six said that Sydney’s Sunday Telegraph reported that Damon, 47, has purchased property in Byron Bay, New South Wales, located next door to Damon’s “Thor” co-star Chris Hemsworth.

Page Six reported: A source exclusively tells Page Six: “Matt’s telling friends and colleagues in Hollywood that he’s moving the family to Australia” because the activist actor disagrees with Trump’s policies. The president’s frequently butted heads with liberal Hollywood A-listers including Meryl Streep. The source added, “Matt’s saying the move will not impact his work — as he will travel to wherever his projects are shooting. He’s also telling friends he wants to have a safe place to raise his kids.” Damon has four children with wife Luciana Barroso.

Joe Concha, a reporter for The Hill, tweeted that Damon’s publicist has denied the report, writing: Matt Damon’s publicist responds to Page Six story in the New York Post that’s he moving because of Trump: “Matt has visited Australia several times recently, but he has not bought a house there nor is he moving there.”

Many Twitter users are noting the irony that Damon might move to a country that has more strict immigration laws than the United States:
