A new report is claiming that Hillary Clinton’s former top adviser, Huma Abedin, is touting an expensive “tell-all” book deal.
Abedin has been meeting with literary agents, likely to write about her husband Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal and the tale of Clinton’s unsuccessful presidential bid.
The Hollywood Reporter says Abedin’s book “is envisioned as a reflection on how her personal and professional lives collided during the campaign.”
Abedin, who rarely gives personal interviews, is apparently seeking $2 million for the book. The controversial figure only gave one interview to Vogue magazine in 2016. Other than that, Abedin has mostly kept to the shadows and remains mute on any details about Weiner and the Clintons.
“She’s more interesting than her husband. We know who he is. She’s the ongoing mystery,” presidential historian Julian Zelizer told The Hollywood Reporter. “But she’ll have to put herself out there. That’s what the publisher will be looking for.”
